We got our US Visa yesterday so that means we are going to New York!!! (And San Francisco!) For the first time as a family! Oh, imagine the clothes you can wear in cold weather! I am really thrilled! :)
Just to give you an idea how US Visa interviews are--We were there as early as 6:00 AM. Got in the already long line and was able to go in after around 15 minutes of bag checking and Q&A.We were the very first ones to get interviewed (final interview) and it went really fast. Like 4 minutes-fast. The longest part was when my husband was asked about what he does. But other than that, the consul just asked me about past travels as a family, the last time I was in the U.S. and what I exactly do. Then he said our visa is approved! :)
Really looking forward to: seeing the Golden Gate from our plane, Korean buffets with Dan (Haha), Shopping in Ross, thrift shopping and picnics at Central Park with Helena. Ah. I am so ready to go. Can February 28 come any sooner?
Didn't take any pictures in the embassy (cameras not allowed) so let me leave you with these.
