friday blues

Last Friday, Helena was feeling a little sick.
She cried all her tears out and made herself throw up every time I gave her medicine.
My patience was reaching its limit and I was crying to God in my head {it was really that bad!}.

I stood my ground and gave her the discipline that a 22-month old girl needed to have.
A few minutes after, she obeyed mummy and took her medicine.

I learned two things: God partners with us and gives us wisdom in parenting our children, when we turn to Him. Second, obedience may be difficult and painful at the moment but the reward is a lifetime of blessings.

I am really glad Helena is learning that as early as now. Happy parenting! :)
